Artist's Statement:
I paint portraits in watercolor from my own photos. My specialty is mother and child. I begin with a photo shoot. When the portrait is complete, you either purchase the painting or I keep the painting and all rights to it. I charge a modest $200 for a small cameo (8x10) to $600 for an unframed 16x20 with one or two subjects. My current work has already been accessed upward of $2-6000, depending on the market. I can have my worked framed for presentation if you prefer.
I paint in controlled, soft tone watercolors, using classical methods of glazes and washes. Whenever possible I try to use dramatic lighting and movement. |
