With the arrival of digital photography, I am now able to create photographs with a unique edge. Many of my photographs are close-ups of ordinary objects. Many have a comical twist on life more like a cartoon.

I am able to add color, distortion and paint to my photographs. The objective is always to make you laugh, feel good or peaceful.

Bio:
Pamela Loudon is a photographer who lived and worked in both Europe and Asia from 1988 until 2006. She was initially located in Paris, where she earned an A.A. degree from Parsons School of Art and Design in 1993.

It was there that she began to develop her unique approach to the medium of photography. Since that time, Loudon has spent years developing her creative eye working as a photographer for The Walt Disney Company in both Paris and Tokyo.

She returned to USA in 2006, and now transforms ordinary, uneventful objects into large, colorful abstract designs. These distinctive photographs use a unique compositional approach and vivid colors to reinterpret the original image.

In addition to her current series of large, abstract, digital photographs, Loudon also has a collection of traditional photographs of life in Japan with a funny, cartoon-like twist.
