Statement: Gallery at Avalon Island is an independent contemporary art gallery displaying works by local and International artists. A new exhibit is displayed each month with an opening reception on the Third Thursday gallery walk. Most artists' receptions are from 6 PM - 9 PM. Complimentary beer provided by City Beverages, wine and hors devours are served. Musical entertainment for most events is provided by Joseph Martens and each event is free and open to the public. Adjacent to the gallery is a private cafe', Quinevere's. A separate gallery exhibit is included in the cafe' with an opening reception each Third Thursday of the month. Gallery hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12-6:30 PM. The gallery space, cafe and theater upstairs are each available for private events on an hourly rental rate.
