About Us

We are an online arts community. Our network of artists, galleries, museums and art organizations each help the other. Our Web site provides a comprehensive directory, allowing easy access to a wealth of information involving the Florida arts community. The size of our directory, the volume of artwork in portfolios and the activity on our message board all contribute to a strong impact on the Internet and in the arts community. Cross-linking is one of the strongest contributing factors to ranking well in search engines, and gaining additional access channels to our Web site Press releases about area art events are sent to me daily, from around the state. I distribute this information to a broader audience, on their behalf, through this newsletter.

Our History

Florida Artists Registry.com first took form in 1999. The Web site began with twelve founding member artists and a free listing of artists, galleries, organizations and museums from around the state. These twelve artists believed that we could help promote their artwork on the Internet, and Florida Artists Registry.com was born. Next we had to prove to you that this concept would work, and we have. Our membership has grown steadily. This past year has shown our greatest growth. With the addition of our arts message board and e-mail newsletter, interest in the Registry has grown phenomenally. We now enjoy a top ranking in all the major search engines. We have found that art Websites from around the state are linking to our Web site Our focus is on bringing you attention. With the added attention our Web site brings to you, you should have increased sales and additional exhibition opportunities.

Fan Mail

Hi Jeff

I just want to thank you and the Artists Registry for being available to everyone. A lady e-mailed me 2 weeks ago about a large painting she saw on my web-site and wanted to buy. We talked and got to know each other and Tuesday I sent the painting "Dragonfly" to her in Louisiana. I am glad to be a member of the Artists Registry and  please keep up the the good work for all the Artists. Enjoy the work that you do for us.

Always
Annie Laurie Wells

Jeff:

This message is a bit of fan mail and thanks for what you have done for artists and galleries through the artistsregistry.com. We get more hits from your website than from any other medium, including expensive advertising. Keep on doing what you're doing - it works!

Bette Krause

I appreciate all you do behind the scenes to make the site the best there is. It is still the best user-friendly site than most I have ever used. Thanks,

Gary Borse

Dear Jeff,

I am writing to express my sincere thanks for all that you do for Florida artists. I am particularly grateful that you are having Florida Artist Registry shows. I will be in the upcoming F.A.R. show at the Gallery at Metro and I know that this is but one example of the many great things you do for our community.

With best regards,
David Gillespie

Jeffrey,

Dianne and I just want to thank you again for making my "debut" come together so well. I've had nothing but great complements on the gallery and my art. Hopefully, this was just the first of many.

Bobby Goldsboro

Hi Jeff,

Sometimes I sound rather fake when I say things like "you are doing really great things"  but I sincerely mean it.  There is a lot of talk up here, in Sarasota, Eau Gali, and (gasp) Zepherhills.  Everyone seems to agree that without you none of the art boom would be happening in Orlando.

Jerry Patterson

Dear Jeff
You are the glue that holds the Florida Art Community together. It is an honor to collaborate and work with  you on projects. Your registry is a great means of outreach for our Gallery and for our Studio Artists. The registry Promotes many quality events including our 2nd Tuesday Openings.  Thank you for your invaluable advice and support.

Just wanted to thank you again for speaking to the class on Saturday [Making Art your Business)
. That was great!

Dear Mr. Shonkwiler:

Thank you so much for all your help with getting the limited edition print delivered.  I received it on Saturday morning personally delivered to my home by a friend of Mr. Fundora.  This was truly a very nice gesture!  My husband loved the print and expressed how special this print was for him.  He is a true follower of Christ and had never before seen the back of Christ in a print.  Thank you for making this a super special Father’s Day for my family.

God bless you,
Yolanda Flores

Thank you for staying on top of the Arts world  here in Florida...I feel extremely proud to be counted along with the exceptional talents on the site..I would like to personally thank you for your well deserved success and much appreciated devotion.

Dear Jeff,

I've been a member for 2 years and recently I was checking the STATS on my Newly ReVamped, Tweeked out Web Site,  www.johngallo.com.  The most traffic came from your site, Artists Registry, which means you guys are really doing an outstanding job. Artists Registry is a Must for any/all new and established artists whatever their medium may be. Dear Mr. Shonkwiler

The 25th Annual Congressional Art Competition was another success for the high school students in our Ninth Congressional District. I felt great pride in being able to sponsor such an event. The success was attributed not only to the participation of the students and to the support received from their art instructors and families, but through the support of the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art. Your support through the Artists Registry.com was greatly appreciated.

Sincerely, yours,

Hey Jeff,

I've just read the article on the Winter Park Lifestyle about the Registry & the wonderful work you're doing for us artists. It's really awesome!!!!!!! You've really created something phenomenal! Congratulations!

Hi Jeff,

Another two great things have happened to me because of being part of the Registry. I also have been invited to the Florence Biennale! And, a new shop/gallery in Del Ray Beach had contacted me because of seeing my work and info on the site. Opening day of the store, one of my paintings was purchased for $750! Your concept is working. I’m really proud to be a part of it.

Jeff:

Creativeness is an act of nature in which God is always present. We, artists, dedicate our lives to create. Sometimes it pays, financially speaking, but in most of the cases it does not happen that way. You are helping a lot of people that need you, very badly. It does not matter what happens at the end. You are a giver. That's what Guardian Angels are!
¡Bendiciones!
