MY passion is to express my sensitivity to social change through artistic expression. Life is a gift! It should be fun and constant renewal. As an artist I always strive to achieve simplicity and humor in my work. I do this through the use of bright colors, Texture, and frequently, abstraction: playing with space and the iconography of time. For me, bright colors are timeless. I am a firm believer that colors have a strong poetic connection. they make me feel awake and alive. there is something magical at the moment when I begin painting a fresh white canvas. I cannot wait to dress it up: wake it up, and then stand back and realize, "Its alive!" Elements of time are frequently present in my works... though always changing, it is still always constant: the sun rises, and the sun sets, and the days move on.
